December 2025 Butter Babe: Jennifer Dominescy

Jennifer is one of those humans that when she walks into the room, you know it! I have not once seen her without a smile on her face or a laugh that you can hear down the hall! She radiates kindness and gladness.

Take a moment to hear her heart as one of this year’s Butter Babes!

1.What does being a Butter Babe mean to you?

Being a Butter Babe means being a strong woman who devotes her time to those that are important in her life and makes a positive impact on others' lives.  My husband, son, and family are of the utmost importance to me as well as my dear life-long friends.  I also try to be impactful on others by volunteering my time on boards like the Spring Hill Merchants Association where I serve as the President, as well as the Fine and Performing Arts Booster for St. Luke's Episcopal School.

2. What is your life verse?

My life verse is something my Meme always told me and that is “This too shall pass”.

3. How do you face a challenge?

As someone who deals with anxiety at times, I try to take each day at time and remember what my grandmother always said, "this too shall pass".   I also remind myself that I am stronger than I believe.

4. What is one thing that always makes you laugh?

It's hard to say because I am always laughing! That's what I am typically known for, but I love a good laugh with my family and my dear life-long friends, or really with anyone I meet!

5. What does being radiant look like in your every day life?

Putting my best foot forward no matter if I am at work or out in public.  I have worked in banking for 25 years with 10 of those years being a manager.  I always remind my staff that they are a walking billboard for themselves.  Take pride in yourself, be kind to others, smile, and laugh a little too.

6. What did you want to be when you were growing up and are you that now?

I always thought I would be a teacher but life lead me in a different direction.  As a banker, I still have the opportunity to educate and guide people every day.  I am thankful that I landed in a service industry career where I am able to still use that same passion to help others.

7. How would your friends describe you?

I would hope they would describe me as loyal, dedicated to their needs and those of my family and community, with a little bit laughter mixed in!
