October 2025 Butter Babe: Ashley Duncan

I met Ashley about a decade ago when my sister was selling Mary Kay under Ashley as her director. Ashley has been consistently a ray of sunshine over the years and is the type of person who always lends a helping hand to those in need. She definitely embodies the She is Radiant theme this year for Butter Babes! Take a moment to connect with her through these questions!

1.What does being a Butter Babe mean to you?
Being a Butter Babe to me it means being a light to those women around me who need encouragement and living proof that no matter what you have faced, God can get you through anything and can use you for His glory. 

2. What is your life verse?
Psalm 27:4 His presence changes everything!

3. What is something you have overcome and how?
Divorce and the death of my mom within a 2 year period. Leaning on friends and family and hold tight to your faith always. 

4. What song would describe your current season in life?
Always on Time by Elevation Worship

5. If you could have coffee with anyone from history, who would it be?
It would be my mom. She was my best friend and greatest cheerleader. She also was a strong woman of faith. 

6. What legacy do you want to leave?
I want to leave a legacy of loving God, loving people, and loving the life I've been entrusted with. 

7. How do you start your day?
COFFEE! Always coffee and not just mornings!

8. What did you want to be when you were growing up and are you that now?
I wanted to be a famous Christian singer! I am now a realtor but I do lead worship still. 

9. Share a time when you were obedient to a word from God.
Changing careers after over 15 years in another career to do a different business. 

10. What holiday is your favorite to celebrate and why?
Thanksgiving is my favorite! Time with family and friends and it was my mom’s favorite. 

11. How would you encourage someone today who is overwhelmed?
I usually send a song that stirs their faith and a kind text or phone call!

12. How would your friends describe you?
I think friendly and a people person!
